About High Country Energy Solutions
High Country Energy Solutions started as a solar and energy efficiency company and has served Boone, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, West Jefferson and Hickory for over a decade. Alongside solar, weatherization, insulation and radon control, it encapsulates crawl spaces and waterproofs basements with a cold-applied waterproof membrane. Its crawl space systems use puncture-resistant floor liners backed by warranties, and a sump pump can be added. It also installs wind, micro-hydro and solar thermal systems and services dehumidifiers and hydronic heating. Free quotes are offered, and in-house financing runs through GreenSky. Rated 5.0 from one Google review. It also offers radon control and mold and moisture mitigation, and it says encapsulated crawl spaces can ease the load on a home. Appointments can be scheduled online or by phone.
